1. The Promoter is Bauer Consumer Media. These terms and conditions govern the prize draw. Bauer’s principal place of business is at Endeavour House, 189 Shaftsbury Avenue, London WC2H 8JG.
2. NO PURCHASE OF ANY SORT IS NECESSARY to enter the promotion
3. Employees, families or agents of the Promoter or any of its associated companies are not eligible to enter the prize draw. Only one entry per person and per household is permitted.
4. To enter the prize draw entrants must go online to https://www.embrace5startour.com and register their details.
5. All entrants must be over 16 years of age at the date of entry and resident in the UK. The eligibility of any entrant is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
6. Prize draw entry dates are from 6th April 2009 to 30th July 2009. Entries to the prize draw will be accepted (subject to these terms and conditions) until 11:59pm, inclusive, on 30th July 2009. Any entries received outside of the prize draw period will be deemed invalid.
7. A winner will be selected at random by the Promoter on the 31st July 2009 from all entries received in the entry period.
8. In total there will be 150 winners across Heat and More. The prize consists of: 1 Gillette Venus Embrace Razor
9. The prize winner will be notified within 28 days of the prize draw date.
10. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the Prize Winner fails to respond to the call from the Promoter, the Promoter shall be entitled to select an alternative prize winner and the Prize Winner who has not responded will not be entitled to a Prize or any alternative.
11. The Prize is subject to availability and the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, substitute the Prize for a prize of a similar nature and/or comparable value. The Prize Winner may not request and shall not be entitled to a cash alternative to the Prize and the Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any lost, damaged or incomplete entries and all such entries will be deemed invalid. Proof of entry shall not be proof of delivery or receipt. Only entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions will be acceptable.
13. The Promoter will not be liable if the Prize does not reach the Prize Winner for reasons beyond the control of the Promoter or if the Prize is damaged during delivery.
14. Proof of age may be required before the Prize can be claimed by the Prize Winner. Before a Prize is awarded, the Prize Winner may be required to sign a statement of eligibility and liability/publicity release.
15. The Prize Winner agrees to take part in any promotional activity at the Promoter's request and consent to its name, location and photograph being published for the purposes of this prize draw and promoting the Promoter and its business.
16. By entering the prize draw, all entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions. The decision of the Promoter is final in respect of all matters connected with the prize draw.
17. The Promoter or its associated companies will keep details of all entries made on a database. By entering the prize draw, entrants allow the Promoter and its associated companies to use this information and to pass this information to other relevant third parties (such as prize fulfilment houses) to enable the processing of this prize draw; to enable the fulfilment of the Prize; and, where the entrant has given the requisite consent, to share this information with other companies, in order that the entrant may be sent details of those companies' goods and services by email, post and SMS. Each entrant will be given the opportunity to indicate their consent to email and SMS marketing in the entry mechanism of the prize draw.
18. On submitting an entry, each entrant irrevocably and exclusively grants and assigns to the Promoter with full title guarantee the entire copyright and all other rights of whatever nature in his/her entry for the full duration of such rights throughout the world.
19. Other than for death or personal injury arising from negligence of the Promoter, so far as is permitted by law, the Promoter hereby excludes all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense, whether direct or indirect, howsoever caused in connection with the prize draw or any aspect of the Prize.
20. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed and performed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, whose courts shall be the courts of exclusive jurisdiction.
21. The winners details are available to the public for 1 month after the closing date.
