I have read posts on here from people in a similar situation. It happens, we all have things we don't expect like the boiler going bang, or the engine falling out of the car etc and CCCS know that.

I didn't mean make 'extra' payments (not very good at explaining myself) but I meant that creditors don't work in the same way that we do...if they see you doubling your payment one month, they may expect it every month. They'll probably take no notice of the reason why - they just want as much money out of you as possible. Like I say, they don't seem to live in the same universe as us so best not to antagonise them...

    Hi all

Thanks again for the advice, it really helped me.

I phoned cccs today and they said they will let me pay by direct transfer on the 15th but the money might not get to creditors in time so they will write to them to say they'll have double payments the following month.
I then have to re-set the direct debit up for 10th June.

This does mean i have to make two dmp payments out of my monthly salary that i get on the 15th but im ok with that and will just manage the best i can.

They were really good with me and understood i had costs to do with moving and being in an unhappy situation. i told them that from no on i should be ok and would be a lot more careful with budgeting and it wouldnt happen again and was basically crying and begging them not to throw me off the plan (they must have thought i was mad, lol) it has just been all the stress ive been under.

Anyway im glad it all seems to be getting sorted out now.

    Thanks again xx
