just wondering, i am due to go on hols, have a minimum balence dd set up however pay more off the balence in branch, this months statement wont arrive before i go away, and was wondering can i use the credit slip from a prior statement (ie i have found a statement from january with an unused slip on it?) or does it have to correspond with that months bill

There should be no issue with you doing that.

You might as well do it by bank transfer though, surely? Will probably get there quicker than with cash or cheque.

thanks, i didnt think of a transfer actually, i cant pay via the c/cards site as for some reason cap one never seems to like my lloyds debit card.

if i dont pay more off before my hols its not to desperate, as its a 0% card, (which i am paying a set amount each month) but i am not sure if i will be disciplined enough when i get back to pay the extra off lol (plus if its in my account whilst i am away, may be more inclined to spend it!)

Yeah, i've done this a few times. There's no problem with using old credit slips.

Enjoy your holiday you lucky thing :T.

What CC are you with. With my Halifax one, I can just take the card into branch and they do the payment after swiping my card.
Got Halifax Classic to reduce my interest rate by 5% woohoo - 10/06/08 Thanks MSE!
    Another 3% shaved off 10/12/08
    ANOTHER 4 % June 09:beer:
