Reading tickets...?? Where to sell them?

Can anybody help me. I bought them but have been refused holiday at work. Does anyone know any where decent to sell them? I want to avoid eBay because of their extortionate fees and the little protection I get if I come across a scammer. Many thanks

You could try Gumtree- It's free to list and you meet up with the buyer and they pay in cash! No expensive PayPal or listing fees!

I sold mine last year via facebook.

I put an ad on their marketplace thing (not sure if this is still on then though). Then sent the link to everyone on my frend list, and asked them to forward to any interested friends.

Sold to a vague schoolfriend (who I had not seen in 8yrs!)'s sister for full price I paid.

I would have thought that if you just want your money back, then use http://www.scarletmist.com, as it's a free service for selling on tickets at face value only. Perhaps you could exchange them for something else you want to go to?

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • I agree with the first reply, gumtree is great for selling. craigslist.co.uk is similar to gumtree and is massive in America, so much so google bought it!

From the official Reading festival Site:

"Festival Republic has formed a partnership with viagogo making viagogo the official ticket exchange of the Reading Festival. "

    i'd give Viagogo a try.

You can sell tickets on play.com. Never used it though so don't knw the ins and outs of it. I sold mine on ebay last year with no probs, the buyer did pick them up tho which was good, you'll more than likely make you're money back on ebay and prob more despite the fees.

  • You could always join the forums for the bands that are on and say you have them for sale - fans will often hunt on there and buy off other fans rather than e-bay or wherever.
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
