Service Pack 2 for all versions of Office 2007 is out now. Support for Open Document Format (ODF), XML Paper Specification (XPS), and Portable Document Format (PDF) along with performance increases in the programs especially Outlook.

Do you need SP1 before SP2 or can you go straight to SP2? (providing you install with no sp and then go to update)0

SP1 is not a prerequisite i.e. you can upgrade straight from an Office installation without SP1.0
