Burning audio to DVD

I need help. In the past I burned audio books onto DVD, but now can only burn onto CD. Could get 8 - 10 books on DVD but 1 book takes about 4 CD's. These are free classic books so not doing anything illegal. What am I doing wrong, have tried to get answers from the internet but now, I just know one of you will be able to help me :A

have you changed pc or software at all , out of interest where do you get the books from . I'm after starting my own collection

Not that I am aware of, have just saved one to a CD as a text ... have not tried it in the car yet though.

I had loads on my DVD, Les Mis., Robinson Crusoe, She, Moby !!!!!!, Middlemarch, Alice in Wonderland and loads more so I know it can be done. Maybe I am mixed up with the text/MP3/audio systems - I am just a grannie.

Mostly I use librvox and/or freeclassicaudiobooks and/or openculture put them in search engine as I cannot post the links.

have just saved some more books should be data not text but still onto a cd, still cannot work out how to do on dvd.

I just opened "MY BOOKS" folder, selected all and the copy to my "E" drive, then windows asked if I wanted to write them - another choice, chose date and then it did it.

Still awaiting dvd results if anyone can help.

You dont say what program your using but CDBURNER will burn to a dvd for you (Despite the name )

Have tried several different programmes. Have now managed to save as DATA files (see previous) but when I stop the car mid-chapter, it starts from the begining of chapter again. ARRGhhh. Have now started O Pioneers 4 times !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek:
