Global Finance Loan

Hi all,

I have just received a call from Global Finance telling me that my loan has been approved. They have said that they will not be doing a credit check but that they have got another way. They have told me that I need to speak to a debt management company and get the forms sent out to me but not to fill them out. They will then send me out the forms for the loan. Has anyone ever heard of them? Not sure if this is a scam.

Please can anyone help.
Not sure what to do.

    Sounds highly suspicious to me.

Ask for what they've said in writing: See what arrives. £5 to your nominated charity if their ain't something no-quite-right about it.

    Cheers!

  • I will do that. I just thought that it was weird that I had to receive a call from a debt management company first and then they would send out the forms for the loan. I dont understand why they cannot just send me the forms in the forst place.

    Thanks

So they can justify their "arrangement fee" as a DMP consultation fee when you don't get your loan?

    Call me cynical, but.........
  • Got chatting to them again last night. They have told me to speak to their debt management company and get the paperwork sent out but do not fill them out. They will then send me the paperwork for the loan.

When I got through to the debt management company they asked me if another company told me to do this. They explained to me that they are doing this all the time. Apparently the debt management company pays the loan company for the lead, and apparently I will never see a loan!!!

    Any comments would be great.

    Thanks again

    Nothing more to say.

This is a pretty common ripoff.

    Obviously, don't waste your money.

Obviously it would help if you have your debit card handy so that I can pay it in to your account....
