I was wondering if anyone knew which is the most eco-friendly and cheapest. Doing a wash on 30 degrees for 1hr 40 mins or on 40 degrees for 1 hour 18 mins?
Thanks

Apparently most of the electric is used heating the water, powering the motor is minimal. I'm going for the 30deg wash being the most eco.0

The new one probably uses less water in order to use less energy in total. Using less water and more churning is probably what makes it slower.carlislelass wrote: »old washing macine ...40deg for 1hr 15mins, new one 40deg for 1hr 30mins!!!0
