iTunes & WMP

When I import cds onto iTunes that I have already on WMP - how come I lose some of the songs on WMP?

Are you using the same location to store files from itunes and WMP ?

Also are you letting iTunes manage your music or doing it manually ?

They are both stored in My Music - iTunes has it on folder. I am letting iTunes manage my music.

If you allow iTunes to manage your music than it may well move existing files that were ripped by WMP into different folders (example being albums that are compilations and where the artist tag is 'Various Artists'). There is an option to stop this in Preferences (I forget precisely where).

To be honest, you should only use one piece of music management software for the sake of simplicity.
