Lucky you
My council Hammersmith and Fulham will charge you £15 to pick upto 3 items but no discount if only one item. Only good thing they have managed to bring down CT by 3% but surely at least 2/3 bulky collections for free annually. They could a day a month when they offer to pick up and just have to pay for one days wages for 2 man team. Not rocket science surely and as I don't use schools, hospitals, have low carbon footprint, badly maintained parks and dreadful cracked pavements around Sands End ( put up with hideous parking restrictions (football again) so friends won't visit, pay for cleaning and policing for Chelsea football hooligans, policing and CCTv for the endless amounts of bars we have and I always try to :Ahelp people out even the really neurotic ones around here who can't be bothered to smile at anyone and block up the streets with their chelsea tractors, the council could at least pick up a heavy item once in a while. Grrr
I have double pocket sprung mattress to get rid of. Shame as would have put it out weather is sunny this weekend and someone who could use it wld pick up but against the law!
Its not great, clean but has a bit of dip but I slept ok on it til friend gave me one he was having to store.
Not buying pocket sprung again. I don't understand why I can't jump on the other side of the dip and get it to straighten out, but never was good at physics!:jFlying Donkeys- Do no harm to others and you will benefit in more ways than one.0 -
