A friend of mine has a house with this kind of layout - With a bedroom at the front, then one at the back with a bathroom behind, hence anyone going to the house has to go through the main bedroom to use the loo, not ideal.
If I were you, I'd keep looking, after all, you did say you wanted 3 bedrooms and this is only 2.I love giving home made gifts, which one of my children would you like?:A

I quite like the location of this property. The problem is, it is a 2 beds semi and I am looking for a 3 beds. Also there is an ensuite with the main room which is a problem as there is no family bathroom. Please can somebody give me some advice whether it might be possible to covert the loft into a bedroom and a family bathroom? Will welcome asny suggestion as to add extra room and a main bathroom. Will that be worth doing or should I look elsewhere? Thanks
It looks to me like you would be paying a premium for the location (fine if this is what you want) AND for the improvements already carried out. However you don't have the space you need - this could be resolvable by adding a large two-story extension on the side. Have any other houses in the street been extended in this manner? Can you afford to do this? Are you willing to throw money away by damaging the improvements already made?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
It maybe possible to convert the loft into another bedroom but will depend on the headroom in there and if planning permission is granted. But as mentioned, if next door has done it already, chances are it would be granted. The work might cost a fair bit though, maybe £15-25k depending on the spec. The space to the side could be a huge bonus if you wanted to extend in future. Although the property does seem way overpriced for a 2 bed semi.0

Harrow is expensive. There are far cheaper and larger properties a few miles away. If you are ok for schools etc then why not look a little outside Harrow?0
