A bit confused about lcd tv's

The sony was the top end of our budget and we'd have liked a 37" for that price but pretty chuffed and it's all set up and seems fine (not had much chance to test the HD through my PS3 yet though)0

Thats a cheap tv even for a 32"
Id say go for this (If your not willing to pay for the sony which I would recommend you do) ~
LG ~ HD Ready, 3 hdmis and inbuilt freeview
Contrast ratios mean NOTHING to actual picture quality so dont worry your self over that
