Bank problem

yesterday i got my JSA money paid into my bank acount, i had a driect debit with o2 wich did not get paid due to no funds into my acount i was charged £35 as a reasult out of my JSA is this legal?

    It's perfectly legal. Try moving your O2 DD to a later date to make sure you don't get into the same situation again. It might be worth appealing to the bank to return the charge on the basis that you're financially hard up (hence the JSA) - you should be able to jump the queue as they give preference to hardship cases. Have a look at the 'reclaiming bank charges' items on this site.
