Does anyody know if it has a shiny screen or a mat one, as someone said if I wanted a mirror I could get one alot cheeper than that!

It's not bad. It's a so so laptop at that price, you can get better for £600, in fact there was an Acer for £500, which had a better spec:

BTW the Aldi one says "High Gloss design" but I think that refers to the case paint not the screen. It might have a shiny screen, but I don't think it's something you should worry about.

Not sure you have won me over only 1 yr warranty vs 3. Hard Drive 1/2 the size and this is always the thing that I end up upgrading first.

only difference is 0.2ghz less on the processor but its not much really, plus theres an ati gpu which at the moment is a better option over the nvidea cards.

Plus its a bigger screen.

oh and its a 5 in one card reader not 4 in 1
