Its true, being pro active makes all the difference, it may sound like poppycock but its true
I am being proactive... Applying for jobs, getting interviews... I am a recent graduate, I have some work experience, but I also have learning difficulties which makes things harder.

Obviously, not had any internet at home for a while, but hopefully laptop will be fixed soon. :o

I'm doing what changes I can really... However, getting in at 7pm every night means I miss out a lot on stuff...

Though obviously this can't last forever.

Am just so fed up... I think I do have depression (again) and know I am experiencing ill effects of stress.

Just wish I wasn't so poor, so isolated and so helpless.

I know it sounds like a bunch of excuses, but I honestly don't know what else I can do... I earn just above the threshold for working tax credits too (living in London doesn't seem to be taken in to account).. All I do is work and have nowt to show for it.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Sorry to hear you're having such a hard time - most of us have been there, done that and got the t-shirt!

If you feel you may be heading into depression, it's really important to get some help - medication, counselling, whatever you need. If you get that sorted, the rest should start to seem a little less awful.

Regarding work - could you reduce your hours to the point where you'd be eligible for benefits or tax credits? If your company is struggling, they may welcome this option.

Open University is very helpful with costs for low-income earners, they also have a free-to-use OpenLearn programme:

Have you tried looking on Gumtree or similar to see if there's any free social events nearby? Do you have any interests/hobbies that you used to persue that you could get back into?

You could try volunteering - how about BTCV if you like the outdoors?

    Good luck
