Lyon recommendations for bouchons

Going next weekend, everyone says food is great. Don't want to pay the earth though, can anyone point me in right direction to save time. All help gratefully received.

  • Go to the old Lyon (between the 2 rivers) and eat just about anywhere. You are correct, those small restaurants are called "bouchons" and as you say, the food is just delicious and very good value for money. Get the wine by the 50cl bottle. As good as anything bottle up but much cheaper.

Thanks Mr W, I dare say the tip about the wine will come in very handy.
