Fast cat to Holland? Where's it gone?

Hi
I used to go to Holland (Harwich to Hook) a few years ago by fast cat (Stena Line) but I can't find any quick crossings anymore, they are all either 6.5hrs or 9hrs! They one I used to do took about 4...I tried to call Stena Line but it is all automated so I couldn't get an answer.
Does anyone know what has happened to this route on the fast boat please?

It was cancelled for several reasons, but the main one was the ridicuously high cost of fuel for the HSS.
The current crossing is very comfortable though, particularly if you have a cabin. I was on there a few months ago - highly recommended! From Poland...with love.
They are (they're) sitting on the floor.
Their books are lying on the floor.
The books are sitting just there on the floor.0 -
Ok thanks, what a shame.
Are there any other options that are faster than Stenaline do you know? We are going on a motorbike. We do not inherit the earth from our fathers, we borrow it from our grandchildren0 -
Hi, as PolishBigSpender mentions the HSS was withdrawn to the high fuel prices and lowering passenger usage. The ships that are one the route are excellent and believe it or not due to be replaced within the next couple of years with two brand new ships designed for the route. Sadly the crossing time will not be any quicker.
In terms of ferries to Holland, the Harwich to Hook of Holland route is the quickest one.0
