Shocked!!!
I have Pyrex bowls that I inherited from my grandmother. I've no idea when she bought them, but she'd had them as long as I can remember (back to the early 70s) and she got married in the 1940s...
I don't ever remember one getting broken - until last week, when OH managed to smash one. I don't know how he did it - I wasn't in the room, and he looked so worried when he came to tell me that I hadn't the heart to ask for details.0 -
I freeze my batch meals in lock'n'lock plastic tubs. Then, when the stuff's frozen, I turn it out into ziplock bags, squeeze the air out and stack them in the freezer like little meal bricks. It means I need far fewer plastic tubs and can just pop the meal bricks into the pyrex dish I'll be cooking them in.0

Me too, I've got a round one! They're handy for cooking then storing but not as robust as normal pyrex, the glass on mine is quite thin.shop-to-drop wrote: »Yep Pyrex. I got mine at Woolies!:(
Edit: found one on Asda's website:

I have the rectangular one they sell them
in our Asda. I also have the round one but
have not dared try it in the oven as its such
thin glass. I have some small ones around the
size of a tumbler that I found in a hardware
shop in Edinburgh.:j:j:j0 -
