can anyone tell me where the central location drop off point is with the thomson coach transfers in salou when you book flight seperately.has anyone travelled like this was it ok??? thanks!

It seems no one else has used the transfers like that with Thomson.

Your best bet would be to ring Thomson & ask where the drop off point is?
Because on line it also states you might need further transport.

When we booked transfers (not Salou though)with Thomson we were dropped off at our hotel even though it said on the website it could be a central drop off point.
Your best bet is to call and find out,although saying that when i called they didnt have a clue.

Might be just as easy getting the airport bus if flying into Reus. You tell them your hotel and they dropyou off there, and come back and collect you at end of holiday

Oh I have booked accom only with tomson to Salou and have yet to sort transfers out. I think I might just pick up a cab at the airport tho.

hi all there is a public bus service at reus airport ,last time I used it it was about 5.50euro pp,it meets every flight and goes to all hotels ,you just need to tell the driver you need a return and he will do the rest,I have used it a few times and if I am honest there has only been 1 time it didnt turn up but I will use it again

I never realised they take you to a central location drop off point instead of your hotel. We always hire a car or get a taxi.

I'm sure if you have a word with the rep before you get on the coach he/she might have a word with the driver.

Have you already booked transfers with Thomson?

I went to Salou a few years ago, and it's pretty small. You can walk most places and get a taxi for a few quid if you have luggage or children.

I'd phone them too, and then google earth it to see how far you'll be from the hotel and beach.

thanks everyone i think i might just risk and book the coach transfers but shall have a quick look round at taxi firms first, i think avenida is a popular place so hopefully in with a chance of that being central drop off point but cos i have a 5 and 7 yr old didnt want to be stranded with a long walk at midnight!!!!!i did ask thomson at first (before this post!)but they cant tell me where it would be it depends on day whos going where!its the first time ive done my own build your own holiday all with thomson but still i'm quite rusty at this so that is why i thought id get you all to help me!!!!!!!!!if anyone has anymore thought s on it please post them thanks!!!:cool2:

wow!!!! this is brilliant quoted £ 22.64 for all four of us are you sure it will take us to hotel and then pick us up on return date in plenty of time?!!!!if so i will be going with this company it has halfed the price!!!!i am beginning to feel value for money this year at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:jthanks!!!!
