Slideshow of pictures with music to fit

Hi!
Need help as I am non techy bt need for my wedding a slideshow of about 100 digital pics I already have. I would like to put them on a CD as slideshow and then add some music to it. Is there an easy way to do this? software? If it is too complex, does anyone offer such a service at an affordable price?

thanks

  • I'm always up for making some cash but I'd feel too guilty ;)

How about something like this? Sounds like it'd do the trick:

i've got ProShow Gold. it's a good program and not too complicated. I think there's a trial version which is free for a while then it'll cost. i think i paid around £40 for it if i remember correctly.

Keen photographer with sales in the UK and abroad.
Willing to offer advice on camera equipment and photography if i can!

    Okay so once installed,
    open the program,
    select Begin New Story,
    select Next,
    select Import Pictures,
    select the photos,
    select Next,
type in text if you want to,
    select Next,
    Next again,
    press Select Music,
    choose the music file,
select Preview to see what it'll be like,
    select Next,
    select Next again,
    select Exit
  • Windows Live Gallery will let you do what you want and it's free to use.

  • It would have to be music on your laptop. A crude way of getting music off the internet would be, assuming you have an inbuilt microphone on your laptop, then go to the web site with the song on, play it, go to the slideshow maker, get to the screen where you can record your own voice and it'll pick up the music off the Internet from your speakers.

A very crude way though and not particulary great quality either...

The precursor to Photo-Story was Movie Maker, which was even easier to use.
Load up the photos, load up the music, drag and drop!
