The 7 P's
Prior Planning & Preparation Prevents a P*** Poor Performance.
Lock yourself in a room ( or walk around the local park) and practise talking to your assembled audience.
Time your self each time you have to speak. If it is for 30 minutes it should be within 10 seconds of the 30 minute alloted time.
Keep practising until it is correct. When you have done it 20 30 40 times you will have naturally removed all the errr, ummm's and it will be very polished.
There should be a introduction who you are and what your going to talk about and make sure you talk about the exact points you mentioned in the introduction points are lost here for not doing what you said you would teach the class.
ie.I am here today to teach you how to spell "calligraphy".
If someone at the end of your lesson/lecture cannot do what you set out to do you will loose points.
Practise practise practise it will be polished and you won't be embarassed because you have spent the past week talking to yourself!
Good luck0
