Pink DS lite

Hello,

We are looking to buy one for our daughter for her 7th birthday this month. Does anyone have any advice on the best deals out there and what to look out for, please? Also, if anyone is in the same boat, any ideas on the best sort of games for a 7 year old girl (want educational obviously, but not toooo boring!).

Thanks,

Duncan

    Hi
We brought our 7 year old daughter one for christmas and we had a friend get us an sd card with about 25 games on it.
We had a mix of educational and games and to be honest she prefers the games on it. If you limit the time she spends on it then having games shouldn't be too much trouble.
    My daughter likes
    Disney Princesses
    Super mario bros
    Big Brain Academy
    Cooking Mama
Our daughter has it for a short while at the weekends and for travelling. Sometimes it creeps out after school when I need to get dinner and they are bored.
We got ours at Argos to take advantage of the £10 giftcard on spend over £100. I'm not sure about other deals at the mo. Try posting on the 'I want one' board.

Pet simulation games tend to be very easy to grasp and engaging for children, I highly recommend the various pet games on offer, but I tend to think Nintendogs is not very good in general, but it is the most popular one out there.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated. I will take the advice of posting on the "I want one board", too.

    cheers,
