Audi A6 help needed please

Options
Hi,
I am looking to buy a 12-18 month old Audi A6 saloon, my preference is a le mans or s-line version but i was wanting electric seats.

Are there any models that have this or do i have to hope the person who bought new had them put in ?

Also, what is the difference between the models ?

Lastly, the main thing a want is the le mans wheels (double spoke alloys) would it make as much sence to buy a standard (SE) and buy the wheels or is the model different and so maybe wont look right ?

Many thanks in advance

It's an option. I have an S Line A4 at work which has leccy seats.

The SE will be a softer ride. Some people find the S Line's are too firm. But I like it hard. So to speak...
  • I am not the slimest so the sports seats are sometimes a bit narrow.

regarding the leccy seat, its actually leccy memory seats i wanted (driver), with manual seats it takes me days to find the correct seating position after the wife has knicked the car, anyone else find this problem ?

    Thank all
  • The s line and Le mans have electric seats. As does the SE i believe.

With the wheels the Alloys on the SE i think are 18inch vs 19inch on the Le mans so you would need to buy new tyres too - would be a expensive exercise.

If you want those wheels and that look i'd shell out for a Le-mans.
  • Memory is a option for all three

The memory option is handy cos my OH has the seats, steering wheel and mirrors in totally different place to me!
  • can`t get mem seats unless i buy new and i can only stetch to 12 month old -thats my problem.
  • Just get onto a audi dealer and get them to do the donkey work for you.

Tell them what your after, i'm pretty sure they can just bang a reg number in and they get a print out of the spec and any option fitted of any car.

Basically they can trawl through their group stock and see if any things got memory seats fitted.

There will be one somewhere it just may limit your options somewhat.

Have you tried looking at personal contract hire? They were doing some stonking deals on Audis recently and the dealer I spoke to was fighting to get close to their price. He told me that second hand he wouldn't even be able to get as close as he did on new!

Have a look at www.gateway2lease.co.uk as a starting point, see if they're still doing it.
