Whirlpool 'fine'

Our Whirlpool fridge was insured under Domestic and General. The fridge was written off and DG has offered a new fridge from Whirlpool but we are being charged a 71GBP delivery charge for the replacement faulty unit. D&G say this is a Whirlpool charge.
Surely we should not be out of pocket in any way for replacing a faulty machine??

It depends on the insurance terms and conditions.0

I've looked at all the small print and even though many things are excluded in Domestic and Generals' section 9 "What we don't cover", there is no mention of having to pay the transport cost of a replacement faulty unit.
We feel we have been fined 71GBP simply for buying a faulty unit?

how many months are you into the insurance?
So there is no mention at all?
It could be a real charge, kind of like an excess (Do you have to pay excess?)0 -
It says this on there site:
What is not included:
Costs of disposing of the original appliance
Delivery or installation charges where a replacement product is provided0 -
see what WP charge normally, for delivery of new orders..?
£71 seems VERY steep, consiering it may well come from a local store..
Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
An update. The delivery charge for new equipment was NOT on my contract. I heard nothing from D&G in reply to my query, but looking at my bank account see a 71GBP credit from them!!!!
