Saab 93 - W reg -Towbar wiring ??

Help please. I have fitted a Westfalia towbar (with detachable swan neck) and have an issue with the wiring of the towbar connection and the audible unit.
The car is towbar ready with an 8 pin connector wired as follows:

Car 8 pin connector:

Position 1. Purple/White
2. White/Green
3. Green/Black
4. Grey/Black
5. Blue/Brown ----]
6. White/Blue
7. Empty
8. Blue/Brown---- ]

5 and 8 looped.

Towbar cable:

. Red
. Brown
. Blue
. Green
. White
. Yellow
. Black

Audible unit:

. Green
. Orange
. Yellow
. Black
. Brown

................How do they all get wired??? Thanks for help.

not sure, but do you have a multimeter and a friend to operate the brakes and lights?

I'd try ebay. Search for the towbar again and some of the firms that come up probably do wiring kits (that will plug straight into the connector in the car).
I normally just butcher the wiring with some scotch lock connectors.

.........my proble as explained is that towbar electrics came without a plug, just a cable with 7 wires inside (see colour code)...thanks anyway.
