PM sent I think! My kids think I am a bit of a ludite when it comes to IT and they are not wrong, when I was at school it was real to real computers, and I did not get on with them either!

As for getting down to the weight when I past out of training 14.5 stone of skin bone and muscule, not a chance, would be very happy to get rid of a stone though, may be a bit more.

Thanks, replied to MP Assistant last night, to say that MP's do indeed hold meetings at their office with senior CSA Personnel, MP and constituent present, I even told him which MP's had done so, and e-mailed their contact numbers to him, advising him to contact them as a cross-reference.

Alternatively I asked him to contact 2 specific CSA Senior Personnel who perform such visits - his reply -????

One very short and to the point e-mail this morning 'we do not provide this service'

Very helpful, will not be voting for this MP ever again, when the innocent are victims of a gross miscalculaton, which has been admitted by CSA Appeals, where is the justice in pursuing the 'incorrect arrears' and enforcing this, menaing that the home of the innocent party is at risk.

I did state that the CSA are immoral in enforcing this debt, especially when it means our home is at risk, of course our home is also that of the 4 children in it, and the very client group that the CSA is meant to be there to protect??? Contadictory - I think so!

In my experience it always pays to go to the highest person you can.

In this case, book an appointment at the MP's surgery ( I presume the MP holds them every week and this assistant books the appointments !!!!!) and see your MP in person.

Tell him you have been told that he does ' not provide this service' according to the assistant and ask him why when other MPs do.

Then provide him with all your written evidence re: CSA and the emails from his very helpful assistant....plus emails from you know who states the CSA does provide this service.

See what happens and let us know.

Don't give up.Stay on this assistant's back....mention the Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards to him. It's not actually the MP ( at the moment ) you are complaining about, rather his lousy assistant.

I would also ask then what service he DOES provide - clearly not one which he is supposed to!!! I would be making a formal complaint to the PM about this too - what exactly is your MP doing in return for his salary? Not serving his constituents clearly!

Interesting!!! Had 2 e-mails in space of 15 mins from silly MP's assistant this evening.

1st stated that as we were in process of having a Tribunal ,the CSA will not offer any other info except that it is to be dealt at Tribunal - even though Appeals Dept say the assessment is totally wrong? And that 2nd request for meetings with MP and Senior CSA Staff still do not exist.

Oh not less than 15 mins later another e-mail from him to say he has been on touch with a certain MP, I gave him the details (even contact no), and after speaking to this MP, they do hold such meetings but at a constituents home, and not the MP office, and it is only in early stages of a complaint when a long time span s anticipated before resolution - so my question is, if it were a complaint in early stages, why would you need to get in touch with MP? You would assume things are progressing through the normal complaints route!!

He did also quote ' it has been my opinion now for a while, that whilst your arrears will be reduced substantially, as ther has been little in the way of child maintenance paid for some time, you will still be in a large amount of arrears' HHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Is the MP assistant paid to be objective or have an opinion? I did request if he was privvy to the evidence we sent CSA Appeals, which had to be re-submitted as all CSA Dept's have lost our bank statements (ICO are involved but that's another story), or is this really a personal opinion without evidence? My hubs (NRP) works part-time, helps with our children part-time, house etc, as seemingly incorrectly, we were blessed with a daughter who is now 3, after years of me being told after an ectopic, I couldn't have anymore children, we cherish every second with her, she's beautiful and why should a father be punished for spending part-time with his daughter that we know we will never ever get back with a child - we are the oldest parents inthe playground, so no oter chances!

My husband has always paid maintenance to PWC, and has up until 1 year ago always had a fair assessment, we are not shirking responsibility, just demand an accurate assessment. So, thinking of turning up at MP surgery unannounced, or any other ideas

Interesting!!! Had 2 e-mails in space of 15 mins from silly Silly Billy - remember the MP that said that!!! MP's assistant this evening.

1st stated that as we were in process of having a Tribunal ,the CSA will not offer any other info except that it is to be dealt at Tribunal - even though Appeals Dept say the assessment is totally wrong? Really???!!! What about a complete account breakdown? And that 2nd request for meetings with MP and Senior CSA Staff still do not exist.Sensemaya is sniggering.

I would be asking your MP to see a copy of this email - so my question is, if it were a complaint in early stages, why would you need to get in touch with MP? Precisely You would assume things are progressing through the normal complaints route!!

He did also quote ' it has been my opinion The Silly Billy's opinion DOES NOT MATTER - it is effectively NOTHING to do with him. He just or should be organising things for you now for a while, that whilst your arrears will be reduced substantially, as ther has been little in the way of child maintenance paid for some time, you will still be in a large amount of arrears' HHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMIgnore this as you do not know what the correct arrears figure is until they do a correct account breakdown.

Book an appointment for the next surgery. I bet he will say it's booked up for a few weeks to you, so then get a friend ...must be in constituency...to book .If he asks what the problem is reply, 'it's something I only wish to discuss with MP'. I do this with doctors secretaries! Then you can either turn up and say friend's problem has been rectified, so you decided to take their place given the assistant couldn't book you in that particular week or whatever. Then, if MP takes the hump, explain the assistant's attitude towards you.

Another thing I would try is phoning the House of Commons direct ( MPs are usually there from Mon to Fri ),ask to be put through to his secretary and make a complaint about his attitude. I did this recently and the assistant phoned me the next day and apologised. I took great delight in saying it doesn't matter - forgotton about it now!!!

    Hello there.

Doesn't look like Mullin is interested in the CSA. Can't find any references to him asking questions nor written answers.

He is going to have to change, isn't he?

As he is going to step down, it will probably mean the assistant will get his 'marching' orders too. :T:rotfl::rotfl:

My MP got rid of all the staff that were employed by previous MP.
