MP Assistance

Hi, sorry again for those of you who know of our case
Just requested that my local MP request a visit at his office between ourselves and Senior CSA Representative, as we seem to be fast running out of ideas for a resolution between ourselves and ongoing case with CSA - they have made errors to the tune of £34k, agree they have made errors, but refuse at present to do anything about it - so Enforcement Dept have LO, CCJ and applied for application on our property whilst we await a Tribunal hearing/decision.
Well, well our MP assistant just e-mailed me to say that he will not request a meeting at the MP's office for us as he is not a mediator, does not provide a mediation service, and knows of no MP's Office in the land that will do so for us as , no MP's offices provide any staff for mediation purposes!!!!!!! And he also stresses CSA Officials do not visit MP's offices to discuss issues with individuals relating to their cases,
Needless to say our MP is Labour.
I was of the belief that if we are not getting any satisfaction from usual complaints procedures relating to our case, we can exercise our right to request such a meeting - anyone help me on this one, before I e-mail the MP assistant back?
Thanks

I had TWO meetings with Labour MPs present. ...one retired and then the other took over. I will PM you the MP's name and you can email this HOPELESS assistant with the name. You could also email back and state it is NOT mediation, but it's trying to rectify a most horrible, stressful situation, that the CSA are putting you and your family through.CSA officials do indeed visit MPs offices.
Needless to say our MP is Labour.

PS Who is your MP?0
-
Our MP is Chris Mullen (Sunderland South)and the assistant is Graham March, apparently he should know better as Chris Mullen is a rather senior, well regarded MP.
The assistant also added that as he had requested Enforcement be suspended on our behalf (with his arm up his back), and we are awaiting a Tribunal for 2 IMA's but as yet no review of the incorrect FMA, why should we request such a meeting as a 3rd tier of contact would not be beneficial - easy for him to say it's not his home at risk due to the incompetencies of the CSA!!!!!!
I did tell him we are exhausting every avenue, and have proven our innocence, which has been acknowledged by Appeals, yet no-one within the CSA is prepared to change the assessment , it must go to Tribunal? So, as a mother and NRPP but also PWC, I'm just trying to protect our home and that of the 4 children in it - so surely the CSA must act morally and do something to protect the very client group (all children involved) they commit to exist for??????????????
Starting to feel like a conspiracy0 -
When I was a face to face officer, I actually had a case whereby I visited the client in the MP's office to discuss the case - so unless they have changed this, this is indeed part of their remit!!!0
-
You might like to tell him that most MPs do this! I have had 2 meetings with my MP present, funny thing is that the CSA dont want to have a third at this time as I will be getting them in to Court again!0

Blob, strange? Not
Anyway would you be prepared to PM me which MP, just so I can ask our MP to cross-check with the appropriate MP that such meetings do exist after all , as at the moment the assistant just isn't listening0 -
I would make an appointment to see your MP and provide the MP with your evidence. This might buck up the assistant's idea and, hopefully, put more effort into your case.
I've PM'd you mine.0 -
Now you are asking! Will try later, the cry has just gone out "Grub Up"
Be back soon!0 -
I wonder what will happen when you show the MP the as*-istant's email???? I know you will...;):p:rotfl:
Stay strong. You will get through this.x0
