Do what you want. It doesn't matter only potential difference will be price. Be careful if you are main driver on both cars when in reality he is main driver of one, you might want to sort that out.

By insuring A car in your name with your husband actually being the main driver Is called Fronting, (or fraud), And if you had to claim and they started digging would render the insurance invalid.
One example that springs to mind of this is one that I read on this forum, Where by a Grandmother took out a policy to insure a corsa for her grandson. The snag came when he was in an accident IIRC and the "Grandma's" corsa was highly modified :rolleyes: Which is when it was discovered that the 17 year old was the main driver of the car.
My advice would be to get the policy transfered into your husband's name and then add yourself on as a named driver to bring his quote down.War does not decide who is right, It decides who is left.0
