Double User Freezing!

I wonder if anyone has the same problem as me and has found a way to solve it?

I have a 6 month old PC with two users set up (using Windows Vista)
On one user I can access the internet via IE no problem, on the other though everytime I try to go on Internet explorer it freezes. It is a real nuisance as it means I have to flit between users to access emails and then go onto websites.

Somebody has suggested it could be because I have AVG security on it?

If anyone can give me any assistance I would be very grateful; I have looked on various sites on the web but they are all too technical for me!!!

I don't think it's likely to be a problem with AVG, because I don't think AVG has separate settings for each user.

However, IE does have, so it's possible that it's a problem with IE's "local settings" for the user that's causing the problem.

The simplest way to find out would be to download and install a different browser and see if the problem still exists with that. For example Firefox:
