Yep, don't like branches or cheques, so I do avoid these indeed.

I've just looked back at my notes and when I first spoke to Complaints on 27th April, this same woman confirmed that my account opening would be backdated due to the backlog. Goodness knows why she is now saying I can only get the 8% if the account is internally funded.

I think I may have to remind her of what she said to me!
