Sanity Check

Hello All. I have been reading the info on this site and really just wanted a sanity check on claiming a refund. I had quite a sizeable dept on cards and loans to repay, which I have managed to halve in 3 years. As a result of always making my required payments and bills, I always go over my overdraft although the amount is getting smaller. Every month I pay £100 in fees/charges whatever they are for a standard current account. I haven't ever complained before as the bank have always just made the payments and as I am a very lazy account holder this has been useful. Will the bank withdraw this facility if I make a claim. Would they look at my earnings before paying, and if I were to move accounts, do they pass on the claim details to the next bank?

Thanks and regards
Russ

The bank shouldn't withdraw any facilities necessarily because you claim. They should take a look at income and expenditure if you are claiming financial hardship on BANK ACCOUNTS only. They don't pass claim details onto any other parties or organisations.
