Anyone use Ubuntu with iPlayer/TV Catchup/YouTube - Slow after upgrading to 9.04?

I'm not sure if it is the upgrade from ubuntu 8.10 to 9.04 or firefox from 3.0.8 to 3.0.9, but when I am watching full screen steaming flash videos now, the video is no longer smooth. It regularly stutters.

In iPlayer this happenes both in high and low bandwidth.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Nothing has happened to the broadband speed - Got a Vista machine which is fine.

TBH it might be easier to wait a week or so to see if they sort it out the easy way. That's what I'm gonna do with old toshiba laptop.

Still running Hardy on my desktop set up. I might be using a Mint derivative of Intrepid on one of my laptops though. I am in no rush to upgrade as it is doing everything I ask just now.
