Having the right undies on will make you look better and make you feel better in yourself, which will make you look better still.

May be a little more expensive than BHS, but for your wedding day (and night), I think this is an area that well warrants the investment.

Oh Debs hunni, I know how you feel, I'm going on holiday in 3 weeks I got my suit case down last week and everything I wore last time was too small for me I was so gutted I cried.

I can definatly recommend Bravissimo I use them all the time for my normal underwear it is so comfortable.

I hope your dress fitting goes well tomorrow.

Chin up love you will look gorgeous, I'm a size 18 too so we're in the same boat.

Hi Debs - hope you are feeling better now! Sending big hugs!!! I am sure that you will look amazing in your dress, like a real woman. And no you are certainly not alone - I have gone for a tight fitting wedding dress and am not skinny that's for sure, I am so petrified that it will look terrible when it arrives that I have been waking up with cold sweats!!!!

Its really hard when all of your family are far away - at least there is MSE and Facebook for support. You should mount a webcam on your head and we would all go shopping with you lol x

Really sorry you feel so low - I really do know what it's like to feel crappy about the way you look, but I'm sure once you find the right undies you'll feel much better.....take a leaf out of Gok's book - he's such an inspiration!

I think if you feel sexy and comfy on the inside (especially in lovely undies) it shows on the outside and really does boost your confidence. I have had several heart operations and have scars on my chest so cant wear anything low cut, strapless etc etc. Its been a complete nightmare trying to find a dress as I'm so self conscious (and there are some HORRIBLE sales staff) and have been really low and weepy, more from frustration than anything I think. I'm very lucky to be marrying someone who doesn't see my scars, but sees only me what who I am. I'm sure you have a lovely bloke who loves and appreciates you for being just the way you are.

You'll look a million dollars on your big day - we both will!!!

I'm glad you're feeling better and you def should go to M&S. They've always been great when I've been in there. So helpful and make you feel really at ease.
Noticed your wedding isn't until Sept. Will you be visiting your family 200 miles away before then and you could go shopping there?

i am absolutely dreading getting my underwear i am a size 12 just because i have hips lol, everyone thinks i am smaller than a 12 but seriously the hips are a problem. No matter how much weight i lose i can't get smaller than a 12 but i am 5ft 8 so it levels out, everywhere is different though! Some places i can fit into a 12 other places i can't so i am dreading trying to find knickers because i find the elastic tends to dig in and i don't want muffin top hips! Even being a smaller size has its problems!

Anyway debs, no matter what size you are you're still gorgeous especially to your H2B i'm sure that is one of the reasons he is marrying you! Don't worry about whether or not something fits worrying about finding something that fits perfectly, ok so you may not find the thing you want straight away but you have time so just breathe! & don't get upset.
Get your chest measured and find your comfy bra or basque, i totally recommend M&S or even La senza now do bra fittings for free so pop in they're more than helpful!

I JUST WANT TO SEND A MASSIVE THANKS TO EVERYONE HERE YOU ALL HAVE MADE ME FEEL LOADS BETTER XXXX my h2b took me out for a meal ( with our 3 kids ) to cheer me up and it sort of did he took me to m&s and i did try on loads but nothing i felt comfy in but the girl was lovely to me i explained about this morning and she couldnt do any more to help , so i cant to the conclusion of just getting some cheapy ones that fit just for tomorrow and then getting some lovely ones , went into asda and bought 1 of there strapless ones in a bigger size and some lacy nicks and they fit lovely and the bra i got was a 42 dd and it did feel comfy so i have been wearing the wrong bra opps , so them will do for my fitting , i had a lovely message from a fellow mse`r and it was really helpfull thanks xx im just going to look forward to my fitting and not let it get me down as I AM BEAUTIFULL AND PRETTY AND I AM GOING TO LOOK GORGEOUS IN MY WEDDING DRESS EVEN THOUGH IM A PLUS SIZE BRIDE AS MY H2B LOVES ME AND TELLS ME ALL THE TIME IM SEXY YEY !!!!! XXX THANKS PPL i really appreciate it xx
