Hotmail phishing?

Was just online when a hotmail page popped up,seemed to be different to the usual aying something like you have the wrong password,and, create another email in case you forget you password,didnt look right. i took down the address in the window bar.and went out of it.Anyone else heard of this.what precautions should i take. abusiness email i was recently sent,gave ot my email address to anumber of people without my permission.could this be connected?

I'm sure if you go into your hotmail account direct there is an option to set a 2nd email address in case you cannot remember the hotmail oneEx forum ambassador
