Student Account Default

Hi,

i'm looking for some advice. I have a student account with RBS which i havent used in over 2 years. Last year i started making payments to try and reduce my overdraft which i had on it as it had went over the overdraft due to another company taking money which shouldnt have been. I thought it had all been sorted out and the account was not overdrawn anymore. to my despair i got a letter today saying i have been getting charges on the account since september of £10 and a further £30 charge today because it was 69p overdrawn. So RBS now want a payment of £121.

I am on JSA and i was looking to find out if the bank are allowed to still charge me even though i am on benefits?

Thanks in advance
