I'm just under 97k now and will pass 100k after I come back from NY in June. Hoping to use the miles for a South Africa reward seat later in the year.
Where are you hoping to go in redeeming all those miles?"Who throws a shoe, honestly?"

Probabaly Vegas , you realise they sting you for about £450 in taxes though :mad:0 -
yes - the taxes are horrendous but can vary according to the country you're flying to..."Who throws a shoe, honestly?"

Actually Not true.
The UK departure tax (APD and other stuff) is quite horrendous (£100 +) if you fly UC .
IHMO you need to fly really long haul (NRT orSYD) to get the real benefit.
Vegas is cheap to get to even if you pay UC0 -
The taxes are horrendous.
£450 for 2 people ORD - LHR return.0 -

If you wish to get a reward flight in Upper to Vegas you need to be either very lucky or fairly flexible with your dates, they are rarer than 'rocking horse s**t' on that route.
Used mine to go there via San Francisco, better Clubhouses at LHR and SFO, it all helps to make the overall experience more enjoyable, if like me, the only time you can fly Upper is when you save up your miles.
The taxes are a pain, but I think it's the best way to use miles, although many will probably disagree.0 -

Yes, I booked with Virgin America. They have loads of sales, with prices usually around the $50 mark each way. The flights were good and only about 50 mins long.0
