TV from a shop in London being posted to Edinburgh

Hi there I was planning to buy this TV from this shop. How safe and reliable is this? I have never heard of this shop before and before I hand over my cash is this a sensable idea? I live in Edinburgh.

What would happen for example if the item was delivered broken or damaged?

Has anyone heard of this retailer?

Sorry for all the questions.

Tim

This is usually a good starting point. :)

You can even have a look at their establishment on maps.google.co.uk by typing thei postcode in and finding it using the info on their 'about us' page. :)

NB. The woman in the blue dress is carrying a big bag, isn't she. You could stash a body in there. Has anyone seen her husband lately? :D

TBH, you can't really tell a great deal from that sort of stuff. I bought a kitchen from a major retailer a little while ago... called MFI :(

If you buy using your credit card and make sure there's transit insurance on the item you should be OK.

Have you've shopped around a bit for the item from a major retailer first, though?
