Advice please

Am gradually trying to make my elderly fathers pc more suitable for him as he has macular degeneration and obviously cannot see. I have made the scroll bars larger but do you know how I can make the little cross and other two buttons up in the top righthand corner larger. Thank you

Have you tried using high contrast settings? In XP, right click the desktop, click properties, and then the appearance tab. Then select Windows Classic Style in the top box, and one of the high contrast settings in the second. Maybe that will help?
Ubuntu is an ancient African word, meaning: 'I can't configure Debian'.

    If this is Windows XP...

1.) Right click the desktop and select 'Properties'
    2.) Click the 'Appearance' tab
3.) Under 'Font Size' select 'Extra Large Fonts'
    4.) Click Apply.

Thanks ever so much, have given it a try and it looks better to me but will have to wait until my dad gets back to try it. Thanks again.
