Park Resorts - Cresswell Towers Druridge Bay (Info wanted)

I am thinking of staying at the above park but know nothing about it at all. I am familiar with the area so only after customer reviews of the site itself. I'm not looking for loads of entertainments etc, more as a base to explore the area. I'm after a quiet site preferably and wondering if this place will meet with my expectations (hoping to visit this aug 09)

    Hi,
We have stayed at this park for the past six or seven years. It is quite a quiet park and we have never had any problems that were not quickly resolved with friendly, helpful staff. Don't forget the ice cream shop at the bottom of the road.

I'm so jel! I book all my sun holidays on-line and I've yet to be able to get into this one. I try 4 times a year but always end up at Berwick, Haggi or Sandy Bay.

I hope you enjoy it, I'm sure it will be lovely. The location is fab!

I live 5 mins from here and its a beautiful area. The ice cream shop is fab and the beach just behind the shop is beautiful.
Loads of places to visit if you are based here, about 2 mins from the site is the Woodhorn Mining Museum which is worth a look and just up the coast are some beautiful little seaside towns, Warkworth/ Bamburgh/ Seahouses/ Craster.

You are also about 30 mins from Newcastle City Centre and the Metro Centre if you feel the need for retail therapy (you can take the kids to the cinema here if they are driving you nuts!!)

Hope you have a fab time, and i hope the weather treats you kind.

p.s. a couple of my in laws have worked there and they tell me its a very friendly site.
You can stand there and agonize........

Just to rub it in, paid in full with clubcard deals vouchers ;)

Staying in Gold accommodation, thought I might as well.
