    Pundit at the Stock Exchange, interviewed by BBC, said Banks are approving at around the same rate, 75% or so, "as normal".

    This fails to take into account that people are more likely to be declined at credit score stage prior to getting anywhere near a full application.
    Furthermore, most high street lenders operated a 'fasttrack' system whereby the majority of applicants were not asked to evidence income, but now very few are accepted on FT.

    Well, I assume it was him. Someone close to me had problems with her waters in Sainsburys once upon a time, just before a happy event, but I don't think you meant her!;)
