Gas Through A Private Shipper

I am with Ebico for my Gas & Electric, the builder who built our small development did not use BG for the gas supply.
We now find that we have to pay a 12p.per day,(£44 a year) "use of system charge" i think it is far to much.
I have found out that the Shipper is ELF Pipelines, but i can't find the address as i want to check to see if they are receiving this charge.
Can anyone help me with the shippers address.

You have what is known as an IPGT. Most companys use Transco but IPGT offer to install the pipes for alot less so this is good for the builders but unfortunately the IPGT sites charge more to the company that bills you so, no matter what supplier you swap to, it is more than likely you will still be paying a higher price than everyone else. There is nothing you can do about changing your pipes to transco ( short of ripping them from the ground which is unadvisable)
As for a number - try the ofgem website..

You could try telecom plus (utility warehouse).
They don't charge extra.

They operate slightly differently to other companies but they can work out cheaper (especially on this issue).

Obviously you should do your own comparison because they won't be cheap for everyone.
