Seller will not reply to questions

I am wondering whether or not to trust a purchase from a seller who is just not replying to questions asked through ebay. Sadly they are the only person on ebay selling what I am looking for! I have asked a question on the item twice now and tried emailing their hotmail account but that just bounced back. The item finished on Saturday and was put back up on ebay a few hours later so they are actively using ebay. They have around 3000 feedback as a seller and their descriptions says to email them to have the items personalised.
Just wondering if I should avoid or just go for it!
