    Helloo everyone

I would love to try this properly..

But I need to ask how it works for school meals?... my son goes to college and flatly refuses to take a packed lunch..:rolleyes:
Plus.. my other two.. 2 days they have school dinners (i pay for) .. and 3 days packed lunch.

So .. some days.. much as I have a NSD.. I still have their lunch money..

does that mean I cant take part? Or that I can only do it in the school/colleges hols

Oh.. actually.. maybe I should go and read the first post in case it says something there.. hahaha.. :o :rolleyes2

Hi Eupho & you are more than welcome to join our merrie band! The June thread is here
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1718523 & we look forward to having you along! As to what you class as 'spends' is entirely up to you. I am fortunate in that my three are all grown, but can well remember the "I need spanish cuttlefish earrings for cooking" or "I gotta take two quid for my materials project" at 8:03 on a school morning! Perhaps in this case  you could put 'X' amount into a pot on a Sunday night to make that a spend day, & take the lunch monies out of that during the week? Technically it's what I do for the milkman & window cleaner, cuz I'm never sure when they'll call for their cash:confused: & a complete throw-back to when we used top get paid in cash & had various 'pots' for different bills....Aaaah those were the days :p Sometimes I think we were better organised too, because you saw real money as opposed to numbers on a bank statement :o
    Anyhooz, just a suggestion.....Good Luck!
I have finished May on 17 after pledging 14 so a tad chuffed :D I'll stick with 14 again tho as No1 has a b'day for June & it's Father's Day too isn't it  Congrats to the Achievers & Well Done to ALL us Challengers....imagine how much more money would have left our sticky little mitts if we hadn't been watching when we spend :o
Shall I write in final totals so there's a reference for the future? I'll do it for now, but if you don't want it I'll change it back OK.
See you over on the June thread :hello:
