Hi folks,
I was just wondering what usually happens now. I have raised my complaint with HSBC (to the tune of a little over £1200 + £350 interest) - they have written back (a week later) with their letter saying that they do not believe that their charges are not unforceable and they are awaiting the outcome of the test case.
Will HSBC now try to settle with me or am I now waiting for the June decision?
Thanks
M

You will have to wait. They are saying that they will not settle with you now.
And don't bank on things actually being settled with the June decision.0 -

The June decision is just the Preliminary Issues. We have only just seen the beginnings of the Substantive Issues. The OFT test case still has legs on it for the time being.0
