What about this PC?

My mum wants a new PC for the living room and I am looking for her since I am the only one with any knowledge about them in my house! It will mostly be used for word processing and web browsing. I am just looking for other opinions really. This is what I have found and I thought it was a good deal:

2gb Ram
Processor: Intel Celeron 3GHz 512KB Cache CPU
250gb hard drive
Windows Vista home basic
Onboard graphics shared memory
DVD rewriter
1 Years Return to Base Warranty Free Collect & Return
It also comes with a 17" widescreen monitor, keyboard, mouse and speakers.

This is from powerc.com, I have found some good reviews about them. Has anyone else used them?

Kinda hard to say if it's a good deal without knowing the price. ;)

I would be wary of Vista Home Basic though.

Have you considered a 'netbook'? These seem to be available at half the price of a full-blown PC. If the small size is okay and you don't need lots of storage, dvd writer etc then it might be worth investigating.
