Difficulty getting a refund

Hi there,
Has anyone got any advice on whether I can get a refund for a dishwasher that has broken down and is only four months. I really want a refund because this is an exchange/replacement dishwasher and the original one had exactly the same problem three times.
The manager claims we have to allow Curry's to repair it and doesn't see any connection between the original dishwasher and the present having the same faults.
How long do we have to keep getting this dishwasher repaired before we get a refund? After the warranty has run out?

Wherever goods are bought they must "conform to contract". This means they must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality (i.e. not inherently faulty at the time of sale).
• If a consumer chooses to request a repair or replacement, then for the first six months after purchase it will be for the retailer to prove the goods did conform to contract (e.g. were not inherently faulty)

Quote this at them and reject the goods - ask for a full refund.:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
