What the hell do I do about this frustrating situation?

I posted a few days ago regarding posting to a scotland address, but buyer is registered in Poland. I was advised to ask buyer to add scotland address to his paypal, which I did, and he said he cannot do it as he doesn't live there, its his friend, who he says is visiting him in Poland in May, hence asking me to post it there for him to take it to him.
He has won the items off me, for just a few quid really, less than £10, 3 items, and wants me to post to Scotland, but not a registered address.
Its been a fortnight I think, and I'm still trying to sort it out!
Should I point blank refuse to post it to anything other than a registered address in his paypal account, or, due to the low value, should I just post it?
I've never had a situation like this before, so please help!

Just refuse him. Offer him a refund and say if you want the items, pay extra for post to Poland or add the scottish address to PayPal.The quickest way to become a millionaire is start off as a billionaire and go into the airline business.

I believe you were advised to only post the the registered address, which is all you should do.
If you choose not to follow that advice don't be surprised if you get a charge back.Terms & Conditions Apply0 -
It's not hard, he just adds the address... he can ask the friend's permission if he's really fretting about it, which I doubt. My TV is broken!

Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

I asked him to do it and he says he can't cos he doesn't live there!
I've never had to do anything like it before, can he just edit details?0 -
It's possible to add a 'gift' address to a Paypal account, I've done it before when buying something for a friend.
I don't see why he's refusing- if he's having a parcel sent to his friends address surely he has permission to use it? To me it sounds like he's being very difficult. This must be incredibly frustrating for you- I'd have lost my patience long ago!0 -
For that sort of money I would just post it or alternatively ask his friend to post you a Postal Order.0

He can go to Add or Edit Address:
Then "Add address", then he can add a gift address, except I guess he'd have to use his own name as the Recipient Name?
Mind you, he seems to be the awkward type, so that might not be satisfactory to him either lol...0 -
Can it not be posted to Poland ?0

You are now out of seller protection on paypal anyway as it would have needed to be posted within 7 days.
I can only say what I said on the other thread really , if my scam radar goes off then I insist everyone plays by the rules. However for a £10 item I would have sent as I don't use tracking anyway (I assume you were if the address matters?) so couldn't have covered myself against a paypal chargeback for non receipt anyway.
The only time I wouldn't send it to the 'wrong address' is if I suspected a hijacked account or an out and out scammer as without proof of posting to the paypal address I would also not be covered against a claim for fraudulent use of a card.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
