It's taken an hour and a half to catch up with the thread! I thought I'd post my messages on here now as you won't see them if I put them on the old thread!
Dusty, that is a very good question. The main reason we call is because we love God and our neighbours. Jesus commanded his followers to preach the good news of the Kingdom. (Matt 24:14; 28:19, 20) The good news he wanted us to share with others is that the terrible conditions we see on the earth are soon going to end. That’s why we call really, we have learned what the Bible teaches, and it’s so wonderful that we want to share it with others. PM me if this isn’t a full enough answer, or you can ask the JW’s next time they call on you.
Greenbee, take care of yourself. It’s ok to feel down sometimes, just know that we are all here to listen and help if we can. Just do what you can cope with re flying/work/socialising etc
Well done Carol on learning your vocab for French! Really sorry to hear about your friend in Ireland. That’s so sad. You’re right about seatbelts. I’m always really fussy about seatbelts, refuse to move the car if someone doesn’t have their belt on.
Glad you had a nice evening Jo with your friends. Sorry you were so tired this morning.
Restaholic hope your OH gets a new contract soon
Kaz, I’ve never been to TKMaxx either! Don’t really want to either!
Sarah, gald you made it up with your friend and auntie. I’m the same, hate falling out with people!

Embb glad you found the money for the window, well done
Hugs Princess Jane, it sounds like you are going to need them! 3 weeks is a long time to have your in laws to stay. Hope your chat works out ok.
Well done Gertuedeana and Frodders on your stars
Viv, hope work settles down
Hugs Toots, you really must rest that’s what your body need. It’s been through a tough time with all the treatment, please take it easy. Glad you managed to get the cream on ok
Well done MOAM’s DS for riding his bike so well!
Vanilla, hope baby arrives soon!
Nice to see you Denise, hope your hoarder to order challenge works out well. I’m quite curious about the steps, please let us know what they are as you do them!
Katie, I had to help my Dandan scarify the lawn once! He had this thing that poked holes in the lawn and then you cover the lawn with fertilizing powdery stuff and it goes down the holes and makes the earth better quality
Thanks for all your lovely messages about yesterday, I was so pleased with myself being able to cope all day. I was really really tired after, slept for 12 hours! Have a had a great day today too, all our friends went to the park and played rounders and had a barbeque. It was really fun. Lots of kids came which was really nice
Am really really tired now. Going to do as much flying as poss tomorrow, really want to get ahead especially with the bathroom which I missed last week so will do as much as I can and have a bit of a rest too!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I'm in!
I have done a lot in the kitchen today anyway (Although my bl**dy flatmate then went and made mess!)
So:
Monday - Kitchen and dining room
Level One
Clear and wipe worksurfaces Done until flatmate got his hands on it
[STRIKE]Scrub down the front of units and large appliances[/STRIKE]
Level Two
Wipe and replace small appliances
Clean oven and hob
Level Three
Wipe the table and chairs... clean cloth if necessary
Sweep and mop the floor
Degunge the fridge!
No extras for me with the kitchen, I'll be lucky if I get all the above done! I will do some in the morning, but I have a busy week ahead:
Monday - drink after work
Tuesday - movies
Wednesday - monthly dinner with former colleagues (AKA Gossip Night)
Thursday - movie with work friend
Friday - movie
I have an Unlimited Cinema card
I will try and keep up with the Flying, but it could take second place to an unexpected social life :rotfl:
