Selling limit on ebay

I have had an ebay account for about 4 years, with 100% feedback of 190. I have listed some items today to sell and after about 7, it wouldn't let me list anymore due to a selling limit of 30 days. Has anyone else had this? Granted I have not sold anything since late 2008, but I am a bit puzzled. I have never had any disputes, or never not paid for anything I have won.
Thanks

Are they all in the same categories? Are they all listed as new? If so, this may be the reason as eBay class this as business selling (I think).

Hi yes, they're all the same type of products and all new, well never used.

Yep, that's probably why. You don't really have a choice except to wait the 30 days or you could register as a business seller but its really more hassle than its worth.

  • Wait the 30 days - try again. Will probably still be limited. Email ebay and ask them to raise your selling limits. This happened to me with certain toiletries/perfumes - fine now.

Loads of ways around it, as I discovered myself and it's all to do with wording!
