if i bought a new television with a gareente for 3 years,what happens if it breaks down just after the gareentee runs out(say the 4th year)how do i stand on about repairing it ,does the shop were i got it fromm still do the repair(i am sure i have read somewere on here i have a consumer right to at least 6 years)

No you don't haev a consumer right to at least 6 years. You have a right to make a claim WITHIN 6 years but that claim may be extinguished if it is found that the item has lasted for a reasonable time and is therefore satisfactory within the meaning of the Sale of Goods Act.0 -
